We have lots of great networking happening in the Northwest. I was appreciative of a new effort, though, to bring quality and thoughtfulness to a social networking mixer - like the one I attended a couple of weeks ago. It includes being in an environment with a gong.
Check out my post that I write for The National Networker on the new Seattle Network.

I read one of your sales articles recently with great interest Lori.
The most interesting thing I've seen lately for networking, and I'm probably very late to the party, is Linked In. I must say though, I'm still grappling with how to use it correctly. I sent a "testing the waters" message to ten of my contacts letting them know where I am, and what I'm up to, and it landed with a thump, not a single response. I'd like to figure out how to network more effectively and will be staying tuned to your blog for tips and help on that.
