Rick Cooper, The PDA Pro

For a small business, it's challenging to set realistic sales goals. I have drafted targets for prospecting, presentations and revenue. I need to do a better job of responding quickly to leads. I'm also going to change my initial presentation to prospective clients to more of a needs assessment. I spend too much time now trying to demo a PDA rather than simply learning how a PDA can best help someone increase their productivity.

A New Year represents an opportunity to clear out the old and bring in the new. It's time to strategize and implement new ideas. It's critical to start building momentum early in the year. Everyone else is evaluating their life and their business. Change is in the air and that's good news for sales professionals.

And, of course, I’ll be using my PDA to stay on top of my priorities as I teach other people how to use their PDAs to leverage their time and increase their productivity.
