One great way to make a full trip when visiting book event cities is to find not-for-profits that are looking to raise funds. Five years ago I became a professional fundraising auctioneer (auction school and everything!) and I love to help non-profits learn some "for profit" strategies for raising funds.
If you know of a non-profit that had a dismal auction event last year, or if your mighty cause has a silent auction but not a few live items - let me talk with you about being your auctioneer. Fees vary and can be minimal when paired with a book event in the same location.
How good am I to help you? I've raised millions for hundreds of youth sports associations, business associations, clubs, churches, schools, Chambers, and women's conferences. In fact, I became a fundraising auctioneer after working in my own auction causes and not finding an auctioneer who actually cared about the cause, didn't insult my volunteers, or simply wanted to be paid rather than de-brief on how the event went.
If you can pull together 75 or more people - we can create an event. You don't even need to rent a venue - contact me and I'll explain - at lori at scoremoresales dot com.
Booked non-profit auctions will be posted weekly at Score More Sales.
